As only 7 of the 8 vacancies were filled, the community council  can fill the 1 casual vacancy to make up the total amount of members.

Community Council Electons

There has been an almighty cock-up in this years Community Council elections with a breakdown in communication that has caught Monimail Community totally by suprise. Nominations for the next Triennial of the Community Council close at 4pm on Thursday 16th September 2010. This is very short notice. Completed forms must be delivered o Fife Council by this time.

Community Council Elections

North east Fife community council elections are scheduled for October 14, and Fife Council are encouraging anyone with an interest in improving their community to get involved.

Nomination forms will soon be available. This is an opportunity to shape your community and to influence how we move forward in the difficult public financial times ahead.

Letham Park

Fife Council have now appointed a contractor for the playpark element of the project and work is due to start on October 4th 2010 and we have a provisional completion date of November 5th.

The foundation of the shelter are now complete and construction of the walls will continue in the Spring when earth building specialists Little and Davie will run a series of workshops. So watch this space for a great opportunity to get your hands dirty and be part of this exciting community project.
