The open garden held at North Lodge, Monimail last Sunday was a great success, raising a total of £1,200 for Letham village hall funds and being well supported by very many of the local community. The total was made up of £700 from donations, admission and stalls plus £500 from the sale of “Letham & Monimail” tea towels. Very grateful thanks are extended to all who helped to contribute to this success with donations of baking, plants, and prizes, including local businesses who donated raffle prizes. These were Couper Carpets, Fisher & Donaldson, Nickel & Dime. Patersons Fruit Shop, Ronnie Black, the Scottish Deer Centre and Tesco. Music provided by the Eden Ensemble was much enjoyed. Their next performance is at Hill of Tarvit on 30th May at 7.30 p.m.
Residents of all ages benefited form a massage at Letham Village Hall yesterday (Sunday 3rd May) as part of the fundraising campaign to raise funds for the community defibrillator.
