SURFACING IMPROVEMENTS ON THE A92 NORTH OF LADYBANK BEGIN TUESDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER

Amey is undertaking surfacing improvements on the A92 to the north of Ladybank in North East Fife from Tuesday 10th September to Tuesday 17th September

The £202,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will address defects on 650 metres of the A92 between the recycling centre at Ladybank and Melville Lodges Roundabout.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight road closures between 7.30pm and 6.30am.

The following diversions will be in place during the overnight road closures.

Northbound traffic will leave the A92 at New Inn Roundabout, following the A914 north to Cupar and taking the first exit at the East Bridge Roundabout onto the A91 Bonnygate. Traffic can then continue east to rejoin the A92 at Melville Lodges Roundabout. Southbound traffic will follow the route in reverse.

The resurfacing will benefit more than 9,500 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
