Seriously, 2024 is proving to be an absolute belter! And, we promise, it is only going to get better. Read on and your head might explode!

The year started off with a sublime performance from cellist Juliette Lemoine and Friends in February. After a simply stunning set from @ma.r.sutherland whose finger picking and lyrical gymnastics were a joy to behold, @juliettelemoinecello and friends led us on a beautiful journey of new and traditional tunes like beautiful crystal clear waves, slipping, lapping, crashing onto a warm beach we were lying on. Amazing performances from Juliette and Friends – @mattcarmichaelmusic @chloebrycemusic and of course the mercurial @fergusmccreadie. Such a privilege to have them all on our stage.

Next, there is no let up in quality as we welcome The Megan Henderson Trio to the hall on Saturday 27th April. More info and ticket information here >>

And then what?

So, we decided to push the boat out and make it monthly right up to August…

Wednesday 24th July – Darlingside

Sorry, what, pardon?! WEDNESDAY?? IN JULY??

Yes indeed, it was too good to miss. So out-of-this-world-good that we are hosting our very first midweek show during a month we have never hosted a show before.

Well, you would do the same if you were offered a show from….

Darlingside

Eek! We still can’t quite believe it. And it’s the band’s ONLY Scottish show on this short summer tour to the UK.

Darlingside have 350k monthly listeners on Spotify, their NPR Tiny Desk Concert has nearly 190k views. Their UK gigs always sell out and when they’ve come to Scotland they go to much bigger city venues. But this time they’ve decided to go for an intimate show on our village hall stage.

So if you know, you know. And if you don’t then take a look, and listen to their absolutely gorgeous sound
